We put out signs along the road to guide visitors. Now when visitors ask for directions to Baldwin Farms, the local residents just point up the road and say “Follow the Signs.”  It’s another Baldwin Farm tradition.  You’re almost there when you pass the Turkey Crossing, the Owl House and the Deer Crossing. Hello Friends!

Pumpkin Festival 10 is close at hand!  While we plant and harvest the summer crops, we're preparing for fun time against this year.

Thanks to all our faithful customers and newcomers, and bountiful produce, it is always an exciting time at Baldwin Farms. Everyone had a great time last year and told us they'd be back again this year.  So we're looking forward to great crowd for 2010.

We've made some great changes this year.  First, we moved out pumpkin patch so now you can actually troop out into the field to pick your own.  The kids love this!  Last year we introduced a new mountain of dirt topped with a flag pole which the kids quickly dubbed "Mt. Baldwin Dirt Hill."  It was such a hit that we'll have it again this year.  We'll also have a "Sunflower House" and a "Corn Maze" along with our regular "Hay Maze" for the kids entertainment.  Along with all the other fun games and animals they have come to expect, we're sure they enjoy this year even more.  So come out with plenty of time to stay a while to make a few memories.

You'll fine a peaceful few minutes nestled in the cedar swings where you can watch the youngsters run around having fun.  Last year, it was sweet to watch couples enjoying relaxing moments as they strolled hand-in-hand through the patches, then resing in the swings before choosing their fall displays. We had many compliments on the addition of our new picnic shelter.  As weather permits, you can bring a basket to enjoy the shelter when you come to visit, whether it is for the Pumpkin Festival, shop for summer produce, or choose your Christmas Tree and greenery.

Our baby goat Nellie-Bell was joined by another of about the same age. Her name is Oreo because her face looks just like an Oreo cookie. They love to entertain our guests as they scamper up and down the roof-top in the goat pen. Of course, naming the rabbits is always a big hit. We still have the chickens and ducks.  This year, we have some rabbits for sale.

Our new website has brought us many new friends.  We encourage you to stop by our website frequently and check to see what is new with us.  Pass the word on to your friends about the website.   It has been amazing how much it has helped us communicate with our friends as they have called to schedule outings for their groups at the farm.

Thank you to all our friends.

Margery
